I came across this book today and thought it was just beautiful! The outside of the book, fastened on the sides with what I believe is bone, opens to reveal a silk cloth covered book with both English and Chinese translations of the content. There is a forward by the artist's husband--the President--and then critiques by other (I assume) famous artists. On one of the first pages, there is a raised seal of some sort but since it is not english, I have no clue what it says. Once you get past that, there are beautiful pictures included (see next post).

Very nice and also rare. How did you come upon it?
I drove by an estate sale today being held by a local company. I walked into the dining room just in time to see a woman pulls this out of a box by the wall. She looked through it and walked away. When I opened it, I was blown away by the look and feel of it. Any ideas on worth or where I should continue researching it? I've looked on a couple of book sites and found one similar, but not this exact book...that one was listed for 100.00. Appreciate the comment and like!
Just found out some more interesting info...the estate sale was selling the contents of Clayton Yeutter's Nebraska home. He was, among other things, the US Secretary of Agriculture under George H.W. Bush from 1989-1991. Neat!
