This is a table I got from my friend Sylvia. I call it a Zodiac table, I've also heard it called a "Tarot table". It was made in 1963 by Universal Statuary Corp an Italian plaster/chalkware company. I'd love to get more info on it but the Universal website has no info. I think it's a really "funky" table, certainly like none I've ever seen before. I'd love to hear from anyone who may have some more info about this kind of table.

These Zodiac Signs tarot tables are created by an old gypsy tradition by providing magickal elements that is established to open door ways for divination.

Also known as a "Astrology Ascendant Table". It is supposed to help you find your ascending sign. You can look up "Astrology Ascendant Table" and find more info. The Ascendant forms the first house of a person’s astrology chart, and is said to be of great significance in the life of the individual, accounting for roughly 10% of a person’s character and destiny.

Most the time there are also number markings on the table. Yours is so beautiful. Here is a website that has some more serious zodiac charts that are similar to your tables intended use. I think yours is more beautiful and aesthetically pleasing...more than functional as a zodiac table. It would make a beautiful tarot table, runes, fortune telling table etc. And for believers, its history and stregnth in design would improve the reading and feed energy to the reading.

Thank you so much Vanessa for the answer to my question! I think it's such a neat table but I have no room for it nor do I know how to use it. I enjoy having my cards read by reliable person but I have no idea about the "houses" thing. My friend Sylvia who passed away and left me the contents of her house which included this table was VERY MUCH into the "houses" and spent many hours compiling readings for friends.
