I got this book off Ebay about 1 year ago for 30.00. I was wondering if you think I got a fair deal. The book is titled " Echoes From The Cabinet" and is dated back to pre-civil war era 1857. I cant find much information about the book so I'm guessing its gotta be somewhat rare. I had seen the same book with a blue cover but from a later year on ebay that they were trying to sell for 200.00. I was wondering could this be a 1st edition? The book is in overall great shape for its age but there is some water damage. If you have any info or insight on the book please feel free.
