Occasionally I break into vacant houses and apartments around town just to photograph the vintage stoves (actually not, just checking to see if anyone is reading).
I was however on a house tour in San Francisco this weekend and spotted this cool Wedgewood stove. I'm guessing 1930s - anyone know anything more about it than that?

Breaking in ....hmmmmmm and yes i was reading!
I have no info on this but just think vintage appliances are just so neat. Looks to be in really good condition to. Great stove!
Its a wedgewood, just checking to see if you are reading...lol I have no clue but love it, i am having a pink and cream colored glenwood restored as i type. it is an apartment size stove 28" for our small maine kitchen but have had to have it entirely redone. I don't think folks realize what it takes to get these in SAFE working order. A good gas man won't hook up one in "original" gas free flowing condition. I paid on ebay $300 for stove, had to have it transported and refurbished for $2175. That is cleaned, re-insulated and broiler removed (or would cost twice as much to have function) in order to give more oven room, and safety switches to make it propane operational. You have to truly loooove these stoves to want to own one! and thankfully i do!
My wife would love to have that stove in her kitchen
I'm drooling... what a beautiful stove. I love the way it combines functionality with streamlined beauty.
OMG-I would love to have that stove!!
