Saw this little Singer portable in amazing condition in a small vintage boutique shop this weekend. It wasn't for sale, but a family heirloom on display. Looked like the day it left the factory. No idea about model, vintage, etc, but it sure was a beauty.

We have two Singers of very similar style and vintage. One in a carry case like this and one in a wooden cabinet

Came across a Singer Princess sewing machine. Serial Numer shows that it was made in 1879. Does anyone have information about this machine??
