This little glass knob has me puzzled. The base unscrews leaving as round brass washer. You can feel that the knob might have been used to turn or ignite something. It moves smoothly but not very far when turned. There is a wire and brass plate inside the brass screw. I have wondered if it might have gone on a stove???? I cannot figure it out.
