I really like cross collectible items that appeal to several different collecting interests. This one hits some big areas-- WW2, tobacco, signs, and art deco!
This WW2 Medical Corps officer, identified on the back as LT Kohl, has had his picture taken next to a "cigar store" wooden Indian. The Indian is on small rollers-- probably to easily get it inside after closing time.
I really like the signs-- the large "Tobacco CO" with deco trim and the smaller suspended neon "Eastside Beer".

I agree, the signs and the wooden Native American Indian are great looking, but so is Lt. Kohn!
Not that you care, but based on the Eastside Beer sign I am taking a wild guess that the photo was taken in California. That beer was produced by the Los Angeles Brewing Co. aka Eastside Brewing (1933-1953). The following information states the company distributed regionally until around 1953 when Pabst took over management.
"The brewery did well in the 1930s and 1940s. It was a regional beer judging from where their cans have been dumped, mostly southern California and Arizona."
