THIS DOLL IS A HARD PLASTIC DOLL. I KNOW SHE WAS PURCHASED IN THE LATE PART OF 1938. I ONLY KNOW THIS B/C THERE WAS A PIECE OF PAPER INSIDE THE BOX SHE WAS IN. THERE ARE NO MARKINGS ON HER WHAT-SO-EVER. I WOULD GREATLY APPRICIATE IF YOU COULD HELP ME IDENTIFY WHO MADE THIS DOLL. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Hi your plastic doll is likely marked on her back Hong Kong . These light weight plastic dolls are rather common and sometimes referred to as supermarket give aways . You may get one if you had spent so much money or they were sold there . I suspect she is from 50-60's maybe newspaper was added later ?
Look at her back and behind neck for mark ok . You may want to look at ebay item 320778270498
Hope this helps . They have very little value in todays market :-(
