Well, well, when it comes to Czech glass, surprises will never cease. You'll notice I have dropped the "Tango" out of my title. My friend Patti Ferguson, like me an avid collector of Deco Czech glass, has just provided this set of pictures that furthers the research into the embossed "Czechoslovakia" mark and narrows the possible source. Both pieces ribbed, transparent solid colors (purple and green) with light iridescence, frosted leaves and feet. And the embossed mark, repeated 5 times, as in the Tango pieces. I think I can venture Kralik as the common manufacturer of all (but I reserve the right to change my mind if further research should indicate so). I shall check the Butler Brothers catalog to see if these shapes can be found.
