This is an original 16 page book of tricks that sold for 50 cents at Magician Howard Thurston's theatres during and after his performances in 1927. Thurston was America's most popular magician from approximately 1908 until his death in 1936.
I have carefully framed what is left of this book making sure to preserve the complete book should I choose to remove it from it's frame one day. Although in poor condition, I believe it adds character to this stunning relic.

The art really appeals to me - so similar to a lot that went on in car mascots also during the twenties and thirties, beautiful art !~
Yes, this is a GREAT piece and has a lot going on. Every time I look at this I see something new. Graphically powerful as well!
So cool.
