I'm looking for any information you'd like to share. Year made. Was it mounted on a locomotive and also hand held.
Found at a curb in a pile of dump items. Amazing what people discard.

    Thanks, Gary

It’s a Peter Gray signal lamp and was either a train-order signal or a semaphore lamp. It was mounted on a signal pole to notify on coming trains to pick up orders at the next stop. It was not on a locomotive, but pole mounted like a highway traffic light for trains. It is electrified and appears to be ca. 1920s-30s. Nice item.

Can't see it in the photo but power cord is attached. I need to put a clear bulb in before I light it up...Thanks
