Found this old phone. Looking for value (insurance) and if it is rare !
Only says K.C. Tel. MFG. Co. on plate outside and inside.
Inside are all there. Has one crack on bottom box. Hard to tell its there.
Wondering when it was made, value and can someone make it work.
Thanks for any information

sniper1234, I believe your oak two box wall telephone was actually manufactured by Chicago Telephone & Supply around 1906. I could tell more by seeing the magneto inside the top box. Chicago Telephone & Supply Co made telephones for many companies like Sears, Roebuck and Co., Montgomery Ward, United Telephone & Electric and added a company name tag to the telephones.
The value of two box telephones has dropped in the last several years. some of the reasons being the two boxer take up wall space and the popularity of wooden wall phones has dropped. I would say the value is around $250.00.
All the inside says is K.C. Tel. mfg. co. , same as the inside. Do have picture's of the inside's also. Thanks for the info. on it, I know alot more about it know!
Hope the extra picture's help! Thanks
