These glasses are amongst some family items I have held onto throughout the years. One of the ear pieces has "PAT 1882" etched into the metal. I'm not sure if the frame is gold. I think the case is tin with a worn felt lining the inside bottom. If any one knows anything about them, I would appreciate you sharing. Thanks!
