looks to be a Cambridge Glass samovar
It looks fine to me as it is. Think carefully about replating.

It is a Samovar but need to authenticate glass manufacture
New at this and in a learning curve ergo the follow up questions
What type of glass is this called?
Best way to determine value relating to having it replated?
I wouldn't replate either.This is called satin glass.Probably uranium...try putting it under a poster blacklight.A truly beautiful piece !!!
