While Chrome is not the original color these came in, I had to do it cause it just looked so cool this way. I thought it a nice contrast against the drab name plate, knob and dial. These were very popular back in the 40s and 50s. A radio like this would've cost around $10 new. This is a 1947 model #842J

    Thank you Trey and decosound! Kind of what I was goin for. The original colors on these were very bland and not very interesting. Maroon and blue I think. Both colors did not hold up well over time. I'm usually not one to change from original color schemes but in this case, it was needed for the look.
