Deco Czech Tango will appeal to those who like simple shapes, strong color and clever use of minimal decoration. And have beer pockets, like me. There all measure 8" or thereabouts. They are not as expensive (yet) as other Czech glass manufacturers such as the BIG FOUR (Loetz, Kralik, Rindskopf, PK). Most have no pontil, unmarked, and were made by Kralik, though there are other possible makers. They also have the advantage of being traceable through the Butler 1929-1930 catalogs, since they were made for massive export. I have several other postings featuring them. They make for a fun collection. The first is somewhat of a rarity because of its odd color combination. I have posted the third in red/black. I love them. Don't you?

    The glass pundits don't . . . Way below their Prada glass standards . . .

I notice the use of contrasting colors for accents and the creative variations of applied glass--when you get four of these lined up, all different, it makes for quite an amazing display.
