HI..
is there anyone out there who can help me i have this paperweight
it stands just under 9" tall.as you can see it as what looks like two back to back B.CAN ANYONE HELP ME find out who the maker is please.i have looked at most paperweight web sites but still unable to find the maker my son did say it looks like the buggati mark ????
please help me :-(

   Hi again, I have had no luck I am afraid and have been racking my brain but no idea! The piece itself looks a bit like an obelisk to me - it is really nice piece - have you recently acquired it?
   
   The mark that you have shown in the photos is not really clear enough to rule out any other possible marks or marking there but from your son describing a Buggatti mark and the mark that I can roughly see - I can understand what you mean. Are there no other marks on it at all? The mark that you have photo'd is it on the base? back? or side? Thank you : )

   hi.
   i brought the item around 2 months ago from my local charity shop costing me (£1.00).there are no other marks on the item just what you can see two capital b back to back.i have been trying so hard to find the maker but like you i have had no luck.
   i was told it could be a very very rare item.
   sorry to sound abit silly but what do you mean (obelisk)

   I will keep it in my mind. Run it by a few other glass types I know!! but not promising I can help. Hopefully via here someone will be able to help you or you might also like to try posting it on the Glass Message Board at http://www.glassmessages.com/ if you look at the top section of the forum - that part is for 'indentification'.     Pread I am pretty sure it is a 'Runa' Bergdala studio glass piece -
    
    If you scroll down this page a little there is a blue one on a black light box base:
