This one I have owned for several years but just recently hung it on the wall so I thought I'd show it. You would find these tacked to the outside of most wooden phone booths, whether inside a shop or outside on the street. Heavy porcelain and made to last like many of the porcelains back in the day.

NICE and it's in great shape!!! I've been looking for a NY telephone one like this for a while. Most that I've seen are beat pretty bad.

Thanks Tommy, BTW, you should be lookin in the mail for your ad any time now.
You can expect to pay from $75 to $150 for one of these in good condition these days.

Thanks man, That's about the range I was thinking but I swear some people think these are worth their weight in gold. And I'll keep my peepers on the postbox

Yes they do! There's a guy here, at an antique mall that thinks everything in his booth is GOLD! He still has most of his stuff because of higher than normal pricing and hasn't sold much at all. I don't know how he pays his rent unless he's independently wealthy. If that's the case, what's he doin sellin antiques! His Coca Cola stuff is all at Petretti prices while their conditions are less than good. But the day his prices come down to earth, I'm hittin him hard. I can wait

Nice condition, I want one too! Bye the way, I called my wife last night from a wooden phone booth and old payphone at a friends (collector) guys hangout, I just had to do it!

Wow, I would like to have the booth for sure EJW! I know where 2 oak ones are but they're thru the roof on price, as you can imagine.
    Thanks officialfuel and EJW-54!

American pickers bought two of these for about $60.00 a piece, that's if I remember the show correctly.

Yep, if you know how to buy, you shouldn't pay more than $60 to $75 for one of these. You see them all over the place for $175 but not from me. I can't make any money off it for that. Everything I buy, I buy to sell later, way down the line of course.
