Produced for roughly five years the Vendo 80 is a great looking machine. The early versions were all red, and later versions were painted with the typical two-tone paint scheme - White top - Red Bottom.
The Vendo 80 is a great machine that is almost identical in size to the V-39 and the V-81. Also, some machines came with textured aluminum plates on both sides of the coin door.
The absence of a crank handle tells us that it came equipped with an electric coin mechanism that required no mechanical assistance to vend sodas..
It came embossed with "Drink Coca-Cola in Bottles on the top. Down below it was embossed "Vendo" in lower left. On the sides the words "Have a Coke" were painted on. Enjoy and thanks for looking. pappabear135@comcast.net
