i took this to an antique shop and they took it apart and said it still works. I am not sure what kind of a vehicle this is out of. It says 1946 inside, the push buttons are memory, but I can't find out anything else about this. It says Motorola 605. Can anyone help me?

These were early "aftermarket" radios, you'd put one of these in when you'd finished paying off the car.

No, I am not a collector, this was my grandfathers and I don't know what to do with it. Thought I could get some info on here as to what it is to, places that buy stuff like this, so on.
