Don't ask: I did not give it that name. On an Olympia (light uranium green ground), an inner casing of light lavender/"pansy". 10.25" tall. Polished rim, but no pontil (so much for those who say Loetz NEVER shows up without a pontil). Fire-finished rim. I have not received it yet, but I bet it is heavy glass.
Let's talk about form. The vase speaks to me in its utter simplicity and functionality. No "Klimt candy" (most Loetz Phanomen). Utterly, agelessly modern. The very best of Loetz, Czech glass design. The future.

Al, does this glow under black light. It looks like it might.
I will not get it for another two weeks, for both the Spiraloptisch and it are coming from the UK, but if the ground is Olympia, they will.
Reminds me of the Marie Kirschner Loetz pieces. Simple and elegant.
I did not dare say it. I did some research and discovered that a whole group of decors--Vulcan, Luna, Spreading pansy, Spreading green, Syrius-- when done in conjunction with Olympia, glow green under UV, as Olympia does. I tried it on my Vulcan piece, and it lit up!
Amazingly, all three of my new pieces--2 Loetz and one PK--glow green!
I love it! we've got a simmilar one. Amazing in its simplicity!
