I know this is a Kralik decor, but the shape sure is a dead ringer for Loetz Serie II, Form Nr. 33.
"Design shift"! If you have Ricke 2 (not the DVD) you can look in the back to see the decors in which it was made.
It's also interesting that the ribbing goes in the opposite direction of all the other examples of this decor that I have seen.
Ricke only mentions various colors of Papillon, Pampas, Gre 820, and rubin matt iris for the Loetz version of this shape.
I HAVE GONE ENOUGH TIME THROUGH RICKE 2 THAT I OFTEN WONDER IF KRALIK HAD ACCESS TO LOETZ DESIGN ARCHIVES OR SHARED WORKERS WITH LOETZ. TOO MANY SHAPES MAKE ME SOTP AND SAY: "BUT THIS LOOKS LIKE A KRALIK SHAPE!"
I have a 12" Rindskopf vase, documented shape, in this decor.
OK I have gone from Rindskopf back to Kralik after finding a piece in the same shape in a documented Kralik decor (see Kralik Oil Spot Cameo Vase page)
