Can anyone help me figure out how old this is or maybe who made it? I bought this at an estate sale, and everything they were selling was pretty old. I have been looking and looking, and can't seem to find out much of anything. The sticker on the lid says something on the top half -- can't make it out, and then there's a 50 below that. Also, inside the lid are some sponges. I'm assuming those are for getting wet to keep the tobacco moist? In case you can't see them in the pictures, there are two numbers on the bottom of the jar. One looks like 6933, and below that is an 83. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!
