Close up shots of hats for Scott, we were told these soldiers were shot for GAR buildings here, Our town had one GAR Building after the Civil war. Our family guy is the right one William H Cook. This is a 8/10 so if it make the wall, maybe they all got one?

Thanks-- letters look like "B.H.S." ___ High School?? I am not sure when the term "high school" was first used.

This has nothing to do with the Grand Army of the Republic and the photos post date the Civil War by several years. Most likely these are 1880s- 1890s.

I agree Beverly High School is our towns high school. this guy is so strange, i told my wife last year i am giving up with him. No one can find anything about him, other than the letter i posted asking for his uniform back. Did you see it Scott? I posted it today. We think he bought this house we have deeds but his wife moved to another house. possibly when she was pregnant. He never came back, we have 2 8/10s of them each is on one strange. died in 1873 somewhere, his son was wonderful had a camera by 1869 and took a ton of pictures.
