This ukulele came into my shop for repair. It had several issues. I could not read the label, so I took a picture in the sound hole and entered it into my computer. When I blew it up I could read Jose Do Espirito, but coud not make out the Santo. I did not know who he was so I googled it and up jumped the jackpot. To see the story on video

Hi Andy Pleased to meet you. Read about your collection. WOW!!!
I am having a great time with making uke's. I have 2 more about finished. Glued the bridge on yesterday to one and am spraying lac. today on the other. I have put different top bracing on both. I like to experiment. I made a virgin redwood burl uke with colorized, stabilized, box elder burl binding, rosette, and headstock inlay. The hard part was bending the sides without fracturing them.
