I have been a colector for years. When I moved into my new home several years ago I knew I wanted at least one wall to have the old style look so I could show off my stuff! I just hope that my kids will appreciate the collection as much as I do, when they get older.

Cool! My science teacher in middle school had the room filled with all sorts of great Coke things (belts, bottles, ads, clocks, etc).

Can you post some close-ups of your favorite parts of your collection? I'd love to see more.

Unfortunately, most made-for-the-market collectibles actually depreciate in value. So if you collect commemorative trays, bottles, trinkets, tin boxes, new calendars, newer toys, collect it because you enjoy displaying the stuff but don't expect to collect it for an investment.

Hi, would you please give me some info on the oval tray ? I have one just like it, I think it is from the 60's, not sure......it has on the rim top:
    DRINK
    Coca-Cola
    REG US PAT OFC

Mr. Junghan, the little bit of information I have located, about the tray, says that this particular one is easily found. One thing that determines the autheitcity is that it does not have any writing on the back. However, I have seen some where the back had been painted over to hide the kettering and make it look authentic. Hope this helps.
