Just trying to find out anything I can about these gorgeous 14K amethyst earrings. the total weight is .615 oz, so while they're substantial, they aren't that heavy to wear. They're slightly over 1 1/2" tall and perhaps 7/8" wide. I have seen nothing like them and am wondering if they might have been a custom item. My father purchased them for my mom as a gift in the early 60s, I think, from his brother's estate and diamond exchange in NYC. I'm curious about the marking 14K IL.
