    purchased in october 1966 when aged 19. cost £35 from multi-broadcast store in birmingham city centre-england. used to tape the pirate radio ships-caroline-london-radio luxemburg on 208 metres as well.

      this one had 2 speeds--1 and 7/8 inches per second and 3 and 3/4 inches per second-also ran of mains it took 6 u size 1.5 volt batteries-it had sockets for earphone-radio input for recording and ext speaker.
