My father has been a hobbyest woodworker for years and he always was saving and scavanging wood for years much to my mothers dismay !. But this time he done good !! He managed to salvage some wood from an old building being demo,ed in Toronto that was at least 150 yrs old ,he even saved the square head nails. Using this old wood and only the square nails he has constucted these memory /treasure boxes ,one for each of his children . This one is mine :) it was filled with all my birthdays cards I,d recieved since I was born !! Some dresses that match the photos in the lid and my Christening silver !! Mom and Dad did more than good this time !!! This is my most treasured possesion and would be the 1st thing grabbed in case of fire !!!
