This belonged to my great grandmother who came to the States from Poland. She passed away in 1924 after giving birth to my grandmother. Markings on the 'guts' of the watch show Wega Watch Co, 15 Jewels and Two 2 Adjustments. I've not found any other markings on the watch to identify the name of the watch, how old it is or anything else about it. There are markings on the inside of the case which I am told are from jewelers who would have done work to the watch. Any help identifying this watch would be appreciated.

I think it's just stunning... that might be a saphire on the winder.. I know Cartier has done that for years, so I assume other European watches do the same.

Thank you, stefdesign. I took it to a local jeweler who wasn't very helpful. He didn't seem to be interested in helping me; however, he did say he thought they were emeralds and diamonds on the face. Although he didn't take out any loupes or glasses....? Grrrr.
