Looks like turn of century. Wood and glass. Front drawers swing open and sides slide out. Dowles inside (good shape for a bottle of wine on its side). Interesting and pretty piece.

Anyone know its original use and when it may have been made, where?
Thanks for your help and time in advance.

Looking forward to learning about this pretty thing!

Looks like a dry goods cabinet- held ribbon and bolts of fabric

Is this big enough for bolts of fabrics? I thought it looked way smaller than that.
      Measurements kb?
      It's very cool ;)

28"wide, 18"deep and 38"tall. We thought fabrics, ribbons sounds so right. I wonder?

Wow, bigger than it looks, I thought it was much smaller. Yes, I would agree that was probably the use, it's very nice ;)

This is a antique ribbon cabinet. It held rolls of ribbon in a millinary store and the clerks would take them out and cut and sell the ribbon by the yard. But a a good modern day use is a wine rack.
