As you can see a girl learned early to do so called woman's work . Wash clothes , iron, take care of baby dolls and a little time out to ride the horse . Great memories but glad womens goals as little girls are more career minded now :-) How about the Old TV :-) This is a one yr olds Christmas . The only child . Love them heavy duty white shoes too .She grew up to hate housework and had a professional career despite it all .

In my house this was know as the 'before' picture, because 'after' was too spread out ! Not an only child, ther were FIVE of us !
Love it ! Ive never seen a toy horse like that before , I would have loved that as a child . This was my life though , stay at home mom on a horse farm!! You got every thing I needed :) . Loved every minute of it :) Except the housework lol !!

Manikin, I've had one of those wooden horses in my day. Very nice photo!

Officialfuel did we get shot off the horse when ride was over ? I don't remember but it loos like it could shoot a kid right into air LOL
I don't know how you survived all those wicked dangerous toys, especially that horse and washing machine! Thank god for the consumer protection agency. My parents tried doing me in with same type of toys.
rocker -sd I do wonder how we all lived pre consumer protection but we did . What about the hot iron .I used that before 2yrs old . Those were good days when life was simple and I wouldn't want to have grown up in other decade .
I heard a comedian say that back in the day the stupid ones didn't make it. There was kind of form of natural selection going on... He went on to say that that's what's wrong with the world today... All these regulations are letting the stupid ones live!
I am glad I was smart enough to survive then toolate2 if that was case :-)
Thank you Scandi for love and all that I might have missed than you !
Thank you scandi :-)
