I miss the old split window busses I had, they are not cheap any more.
This show is amazing, you would really have a great time. There are several of these old busses sitting behind an old building here in town, I am going to try and get several photos to post.
Have a friend with a 1960 vw microbus that is in good condition, she has had a heck of a time trying to sell it, it does need a good cleaning but I can't believe with all the people out there that love them, that no one wants it.
I love it! ... and think I might just have to get one :-)
thank you mark, Laureniscontent, beachbomb, Stonie and vanskyock24

V-dub heaven!
Some of my families best memories are of my mom and dad packin all 5 kids in the bus. Im not sure of the year but it had the oblong windows around the roof and a cloth sun roof. All we needed was a couple dollars for gas and cooler with Velvita and Jersey tomato sandwiches and we were off to the Jersey shore (South Jersey that is) either Ocean City or Long beach Island. My folks didnt have much but they knew the value of getting up and going in that Micro Bus.
Thank you very much mikielikesigns2, potrero, ERMELIN, VintageStation & collector4evr
Brings back memories, some good, some bad but almost all good.
Actually, I think it was in the back of 1 of these that I 1st got laid. Correct my earlier comment to "GOOD".
