This is the first guitar I ever bought. It was a considerable upgrade over the $150 hand-me-down I had played up to this point. Purchased it new back in 1997.
I lowered the action but otherwise have not made any tweaks. Very easy to play with a wonderful mid and high tone. A classic.

Played a very similar model (previous owner had installed a Fishman Matrix pickup) at Guitar Center today and it killed me that I didn't have an extra $1,299 laying around!! Had the same basic look (pickguard, u-shaped bridge, different inlays though) and tag said it was a '96 model. Cheers!
