Round Doll Case- Inside this case was a small wooden box, marked on back, "JE Caldwell & Co" and box that was full of shoes- The red and black pair of shoes w/ buckles still have tags... 20cents for red, only 15cents for black. The stockings are tagged, .25 from John Wanamaker. I like the green shoe that has the gold wood heel, but it is missing its match. Same story for black shoe w buckle and the small brown moccasin. The moccasin next to new black shoes are brand new and sewn together, they weren't ever separated. Wow. I hope I find a real doll soon!

I am drooling ! In love with them !!!!! These are German Bisque doll shoes and high heel ones were for a boudoir doll or maybe even a China . I have seen them most on Boudoir dolls . Your into the Gold plus now . ! These are valuable to antique doll collectors . The Indian ones I see do not sell for as much as the German shoes . Look at soles sometimes they are stamped IF they were frech WOW That would be even better ! Love Love
My wife makes doll shoes. She works for a lady named Sylvia Rountree. Sylvia's company name is The Doll's Cobler. You can google her... These are very cool!
toolate2, Thank-You! I will do that. I'm happy to hear how people still think these are cool after so many years. Three shoes (green w/ buckle & black w/ buckle, both have wooden heel)(small moccasin) don't have their mate. Are they still desirable?
Manikin, Thanks for all your excellent comments! The brand new red & black pair have the number 1 stamped on the bottom of each. And I didn't find any Doll :(
I guess maybe she was broken or sold at auction Beaux :-( Anyway your 1890's German Doll shoes would sell for a good price and I suspect the High heel ones may in todays depressed market bring at least 100.00 and up and the German Buckle ones in 40-60 dollar range each . 2 yrs ago much more ! The hats are they small doll size or human size ?
I found the hats in the same tin as the scalp and they look like they would fit perfectly. The hats were in the red hat box. I opened a last doll trunk and took photos, then packed it all back up, but camera/memory card failed! I did find some doll clothing, probably for the missing doll. And two tea sets that are pretty.
Well the hats if for a doll are valuable also ! Antique doll collectors love them ! Awesome finds . I love old doll clothes . They do need extra care like your silk dress you found at brothers . Silk deterioated over time and falls apart but Cotton held up good if in a good stoarage case . Loving all your wonderful finds !!!!!!!!!!
Thank You! I will post more photos, just need to fix camera. Toolate2 reminded me that in the 1980's my Granny really got into dollhouses, and sometimes she would add in something from her childhood doll house from the 1920's. I hope I have some old things from old one :)
awesome shoes!!!
Thank-You Bellin68!
