While I was working at a customers house I had to go up in their attic. Once there I looked toward the other end of the attic and I saw the fabulous pedal firetruck pictured above. Everywhere I looked were toys from the 50's. I was so excited over these toys I came downstairs and asked the customer if she would like to sell the firetruck and she said she would have to think about it. As we continued working for the remainder of the day I couldn't stop thinking about the firetruck. As we were preparing to leave she asked if I was sure I wanted that old pedal car. I told her I would love to buy it if she was willing to sell it. She told me it had never been ridden except inside the house then she amazed me by presenting the firetruck to me as a gift. I was fortunate enough to complete several additional jobs for this very generous and kind lady and feel very lucky that our paths crossed. She left a mark on my memory of how kindness still is alive and well today.
