This is made from silver and appears to be either a medal or token of some sorts. The thing that throws me off is the Asian characters on the reverse side. Anybody got any ideas, love to hear them. Thanks for looking.

    My guess would be Japan or China locally issued WWI victory celebration medal. I have seen similar medals from Japan but this one is just a bit different from those that I've seen.
