These were made out of those socks that had red toes . The toes made for a mouth , Faces were embroidered and then dressed to go out . Vintage 5o,s toy . Many children loved their sock monkeys in the day and keep them well preserved for us .

Oh! My mom was looking for the pattern for these 'sock monkeys' early in Dec! I think she finally found on, my aunt had an old one! I bet a couple of the new grandkids are looking to get a favorite drag around washable toy! This one is fancier than the one's I've seen, clothes and all!

Hey Manikin, I sure hope that she does and I will sure post them here! She was excited to find them and at 82 yrs of age, I was excited that she got excited about it! Such memories!
