Every time I think of my Grandfather I remember how his pockets were always full of things that jingled. Coins, keys & pocket knives. You could hear him from a mile away, and I think now it is why he wore suspenders. As he got older, they got fuller and fuller and I remember my Granny yelling at him about it. She would even weigh it at the end of the day and we would laugh about everything he would collect throughout that day. Then she would hide it all so he wouldn't wake up the next morning and shove it all back into his pockets. These are just some of the ones that I kept for myself. I only kept the ones I thought were "pretty".
The last knife I found under a bust of Shakespeare in his closet. It says 1903. It wouldn't fit in my pocket, but I kept it anyway.
He was born in 1918, so I don't know wher this knife came from and was wondering about its history.

papa, Thank-You! My grandfather was in WWII (Pacific area is all I know) and it was in his closet. Towards the bottom and back, so it was in there for a long long time. Weapons were re-used? Wow. Thank-You for info!
