Higgins glass became very collectable about 15 years ago. The Higgins were a husband and wife team who started making fused glass in the 50's.
Fused glass consists of a top and bottom layer of glass with different colored and shaped glass in between. They produced many different shapes of glassware. These two pieces sell for $75.00 each. This small company is still working outside Chicago.
