My wife came across this item on a yard sale.
It's wooden with raised panels through out.
It has three separate compartments that are lined with tin.
We don't know what it was used for or its history.
Does anyone out there have any ideas?

i would say it was for tea, black, green and the middle one may have been for a mixing bowl ?
