I have one similer to this without the ring of jewels. Mine doesn't work either. The one I have has 8jours written on the face. Looked them up online, said it wasn't theirs. If you ever get any info on yours, drop me a line. Would like to get the one I have fixed because of it's uniqueness Thank You

also had a friend take the clock to The Antique Road Show when they were in the area. Couldn't tell nothing.

This is called a "ball" clock. It is stem wind and pin set. It is not a fake or copy but the real thing. I see these in my shop from time to time. Your's is stunning and unusual with its telephone dial and matching stones. A good watchmaker could fix this. Very nice and collectable.
