As I was out looking around the state on the long weekend, I also came across this old Bold cigar countertop display metal case. It has a glass hinged front that opens. You would reach in and get your cigar. There is room for two boxes of cigars to be displayed. On the back there is also a hinged door that opens and this round cylinder pops out as seen in the picture. Also there is a paper label but very hard to read. I believe this was a match striker or it held water to keep the cigars moist, such as a humidor. Any other info would be appreciated.

   that cylinder looks like it has mesh or holes? you might be on to something with humidor.
