    Evidently this is an antique drawing knife. It was made by CE Jennings, NY, number 10, patented February 20, 1906. It does have some "patina" but it is sharp!

      Redsoda, it is a draw knife, not a drawing knife. You don't draw with it, you pull or draw it toward you. If you are young or from the city you probably never heard of one. They are actually common to some older country folks.
