Here is one of my favorite railroad police badges. I know that the 14K solid gold and diamond presentation badges are special in their own right, but something about this beautiful custom die badge with the NYCRR oval logo in the center always has been a favorite with me. I have a collection of 26 different ranks and the only one I am missing is the "Inspector" rank. Oh well, some day I'm sure it will show up along with the "Lieutenant" rank of the NYO&W Railway Police that I'm missing to compete that rank set. I guess if this was easy after 38 years..it wouldn't be fun. Happy hunting to all of you out there!
