I usually think it's a crime to chrome vintage microphones. But in this case, my Italian Geloso microphone came in such a bad shape, that I decided to risk it. I think it came out pretty good.

Great, I have the same microphone in my collection, how much did you pay for having it chromed ? I'm interested in chroming mine
I live in Brazil, so the price range will probably differ. Nevertheless, I paid around $50.00 over here.

Thanks, cocacolakid97! I do it at home. Nothing to it, really. Just a nice background texture (in this case, something that comes close to red silk), and some Photoshop work later.
