This Blossom teapot required me to carve a new ivory (pre-ban) handle to replace the rotted original. I also removed the dents, rounded the spout opening, and hand finished the pot.

Congratulatuons on what looks like a fabulous job.
How long have you been smithing?
An amazing piece is it not?
An easy job? What was learnt about Jensen's work in doing your restoration?

I think they call it the 2D.

    Thanks for the compliment!

I've been smithing since high school - 37 years. Check out my Web site: http://www.hermansilver.com

It was a fairly easy job, but very time consuming.

Jensen silversmiths are fantastic. Their finishing department is equally amazing.

I have had a brief look at your site, enjoyed the video and have bookmarked the glossary for future reference.

Not many people on CW seem to be aware of 'silver'. I'm not sure why.

You are a good restoration expert it looks like, I will have to see your website, this is a gorgeous piece, I like them, but seem to be priced through the roof now for a teapot as fine as this one is. Magnificently beautiful !~
