The bottom have been engraved with "Vemema" (sp?) and then 1996. so not sure if the owner engraved them or if the artist. I have decanter, six shot glasses and six wine glasses. someone dropped them off at my second hand store

Most likely Italian. They made these for export and tourist trade. Fairly common. Sets generally range in aftermarket for 35-90 dollars depending on condition, color and area of country. Cobalt does well in the northeast while the red does better in mid atlantic region. Green is relatively unwanted nearly everywhere these days. These are still being made today though they had their peak between 1950-1970.
