Hi all! I need help identifying this myster mark on this exquisite Art Pottery Bull (Buffalo?). The clay is it is made of beige, or light tan - maybe light pinkish. The red mark is too obscured to get any info. No country of origin. He's 8 inches long, and just under two inches wide. Would you say Art Deco 1930's Style, or Mid-Century Modern? Base is a slightly different brown glaze than the body. Edges, legs and tail are squared off. Front legs are one block - no distinction between the two legs. Very cool - but I need help identifying it! Could it be Native American? A Spanish Bull? Wall Street Bull?
I don't know if the mark is a mountain or an M. Thanks in advance!
