Oh dear, looks a lot like my collection... I'm happy I'm not the only one who likes to buy them :p
i am so so jealous. last year i started collecting skeleton keys and only have 4. i cant find them anywhere. They always say they just got rid of them or they just dont have any
Funny story just happened yesterday if you look the trunks i put here, i was moving one, i locked it ??????????????? O MY , I remembered all these keys and look at them which one would it be? I looked for a name on the trunk it had a name from 1920 in Boston of a store i then looked for a new key because come of this are really old. I saw a small 2 in a bag, look new not dirty at all in plastic with 2 keys, well it opened the trunk!!!!! lucky me
Yeah, seriously. I've been able to find a key in my collection for every piece of antique furniture that's come into my house, it's really quite handy to have them around.
GREAT collection of keys! You have some real winners in there.
